God says you are righteous, so that means you are righteous.

Do not doubt your righteousness, because it is not yours in the first place.

It is God who imputed it in you, through the blood of Jesus Christ.

For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
Romans 5:19

Adam condemned all of us with his act of disobedience in the Garden of Eden, while Jesus Christ saved us all through His act of Obedience and Sacrifice on the Cross.

So it is no more a matter of whether you feel righteous or not: God says that because of Jesus and because you are born again, by the Spirit of the Almighty God, you are righteous.

Many of us live in guilt, condemning ourselves for our past sins. But that is wrong. You have been made new, and you are no longer walk in darkness like you used to.

If you believe in the Word of God, and the Word of God says you are righteous, then you are righteous!

It is true, we may have fallen into sin several times. But as the bible says that we cannot be made righteous through our “good” deeds, because God had condemned us as sinners through Adam.
In the same manner, since we have been bought by the Blood of Jesus and made righteous through Gods word, even if we sin, our righteousness will not be taken away from us.

BUT, be very careful here, do not use this as a license to sin. If you continue living a life of sin, and you do not see any transformation in your life, then you might want to reconsider whether you are saved or not.

Because of Gods righteousness in us, we stop living like we used to live, when we were not saved. We leave all our sins behind us, and walk in the Light, because of are Children of the God who brought light to this dark world.

Stay Blessed and have a righteous day.
